Come along to find out more about climate change impacts in your community and to contribute your experiences.
The GSA Biosphere Partnership has been working with Climate Ready D&G on the development of a regional climate risk assessment. During the autumn we are taking a roadshow to 10 communities across D&G to discover people’s experiences of the impacts of climate change, opportunities and adaptations needed for future changing weather patterns.
We are holding a workshop in each community with a speaker. Professor Brian Huntley will give a presentation about the ongoing climatic changes, the novelties of a new climate and challenges for agriculture and wildlife. The workshop will include the opportunity to contribute your experiences and ideas of ways to mitigate and adapt to climate change in Stranraer.
